Nov. 17th, 2008

I survived PD, not periodic detention but professional development, which I had to lead this afternoon, from 2.30 until 5.30. Our whole staff attended, and I think it's hard to lead your peers, especially when so many of them have been there a lot longer than me. Still, it went well and they all participated with interest in 'special character' PD. From my point of view, that was the last really hard thing this fortnight. I know there are heaps of jobs to do, but from now on it gets easier, I hope. And NO MORE SENIOR CLASSES. That's five out of seven classes GONE!

And the days keep being busy, from tennis to music to whatever else the children do. I hurt my hand trying to restring Finn's violin tonight. I had bought a new string and it just snapped, ping, back onto my hand. Actual blood! That means I need to try to get to the violin shop in town before Finn's lesson tomorrow. Somehow. At lunch or something. Easier now I've recharged the car battery *snort*

And now I am going to bed. Before midnight. I'll finish my junior reports tomorrow, I will. I have to go back to the physiotherapist tomorrow. I hope I am ...looser *g*
And I'm thinking of you all. Have a good day.

Thanks.

-hope you find some time to relax!
Relax... the physiotherapist today said I still wasn't relaxed enough! She told me to lie still flat on the floor for ten minutes every day. I said it'll be hard to be still for ten minutes LOL but I could get used to it *g*

That could be 10 minutes to plot your next short story !

Another good thing to do,which I have been doing for my shoulder and arm...is to lift your arms up over your head and shake them about shakey shake.....loosey loose. LOL

That's a good idea, plotting time. That makes it sound more worthwhile!

Hee! Thanks. I shall have to try a lot of that sort of thing.

Stay loose, be a moose... (you shake your hands loose, then make moose antlers on your head)

Hmmm and I'm trying to work out when you wrote this! It came in close to midnight here, so I guess that's about right. Now it's evening here, a sunny, still magical kind of evening. As was last night. Summer must be on its way.

And good evening then to you. Well, no, good morning. Guten morgen... is that right *g*

As I said, it was nearly midday...12. I know all the times are out of kilter again due to your summer and our winter....I chatted with a friend in Australia and it was usually 11pm for her and 3 pm for me,but it is now after midnight for her !
Whoever invented all these time changes needs to think again!

That seems odd, the time difference would only be affected by daylight saving. Maybe you have that too? If you both had saving in the opposite directions... you can always go to my LJ and view the Time Zones link down the left hand side *g*
