Okay, so not so much posting from me any more. I think you'll cope. I spent the weekend driving four and a half hours north (well, it really seems to take five every time) to a wedding in Napier. It was lovely, nice wedding, all that. Steve stayed home to mind the boys and I took Christy. We had fun, singing all the old fave songs from her iPod, like Les Mis (she's always Javert and I'm Valjean), My Chemical Romance, things we don't listen to much these days. It was fine. We stayed with Steve's aunt. Highlight of the evening, convincing the older men at our table that serial killers and child molesters have a propensity for knitted cardigans...

Had a mad week catching up after the year 10 camp the previous week. I never got to bed before midnight and got up each morning at six. It seems like a tunnel, there's no rest in sight.

Went to the wedding yesterday, rushed back from the Bay today for Asher's birthday party thing (shared with his friend, as both missed out on parties last year). We, the mothers, shouted them paintballing for the afternoon. Very exciting. Then we bought pizzas. And they were all very happy.

Now, I'm pretty tired. Going to have a shower. Work tomorrow. Meeting after school. So much to do. But it's all good. Talk to you later. Got so much to say, no time to say it! OMG!

I had a momentary panic thinking I'd somehow missed Asher's birthday then I read on...
I'm back and will post when I get my head turned back on.

David, Matthew and Chris used to know all the parts for the songs in Les Mis and we often used to sing them all... sometimes there were arguments about who was Valjean and who was Javert...

Hope you enjoyed the wedding, Napier would be nice just now, would love to walk along Marine Parade and go to buy icecreams at the beach up at Port Ahuriri again... (One day!)

Chris wants to go paintballing, we used to do it lots, but it is more expensive and less convenient here than it was in Taita where it was just round the corner!

Hee! Christy always seems to favour the dark side, like Javert, Snape, the oft misunderstood underdog.

Yeah, one day you'll do it again. The wedding was lovely. But driving up and back and getting back in time for a birthday celebration was all a bit much!

It cost $30 each for 100 rounds or bullets or something.
Finn said the paintballing was VERY PAINFUL! And is reluctant to go again! The rest of the boys loved it, I think! Mostly the adrenaline rush!
