Jun. 22nd, 2007

It's dark and windy, and we just watched that old thriller, the Blair Witch Project! I hadn't seen it for ages. Then we needed hay for the pets. No one would go to the garage except me! I felt inexplicably brave. Maybe that Blair Witch thing just doesn't do it for me. I think maybe I just wanted to strangle the girl myself *g*

I was just feeding Caramello out on the deck and there is an amazing half moon way out to the west over the hills. It is very bright, considering what a dark night it is. The wind is whipping around the trees and it is cold. I'm going to bed. Today was busy - I spent over an hour at my PC working out assessment plans for NCEA. It's hard work, being on top of the departmental stuff but I am finally getting my head around the whole concept of unit standards and stuff. The woman who was there before me was pretty straight, she just set up essay questions, so I'm looking at all the creative options in the original unit standards, so the girls can be a bit more inspired with their work.

Sport tomorrow. Finn can't play with his arm in a fat, white cast, and Asher can't play with a sore heel, but my friend's children are staying the night (she's away) and they both have soccer in the morning, thankfully one game at the end of our street! And there's netball... early, of course! Later though, I plan to take some time out, somehow.

We also watched Little Miss Sunshine and that was just brilliant! And now, it's bed time. No writing done this week, not one single word. Is that how it's going to go? Last term, I was going to be a writer. Now I'm a Director of Religious Studies. *shrug* life gets re-edited. I do miss the notion of being at home being a writer though. It was fun while it lasted.

*sigh*

Too bad it has to work that way! But maybe the writing will return. Maybe you can squeeze in some time this weekend.

I have never seen the Blair Witch Project. I know that it scared some of my friends so much they wouldn't be out in the dark anymore at all. However some of them it didn't even bother. Everyone's different I guess!

I did like Little Miss Sunshine though.

Off to work. I apologize if I have an typos!!

Yeah, I hope so. I'm starting to think I won't write any more, but I'll keep trying.

It's not that scary, really. Just the thought of what is happening. The end is scary... yeah, I guess it is pretty scary overall really. Yeah...

I couldn't watch The Blair Witch Project to the end - and on my way to bed when I left/chickened out, I had to keep my back to a wall all the way and then leave a lamp on. Colin and Gail laugh at horror films. I die!

Oh no, my poor Moth! I'm with Colin and Gail, I'd laugh more likely. Then again, I hardly ever watch anything scary!

The end of Blair Witch is the scariest of all. Don't watch that bit *g*
