They're big again - I'll do another cut for you Here is a site for the Blair Witch Project. Or what happens to a house if you abandon it in the Hinterland! This was near Little Nerang Dam, and we didn't see it on the way past, but on the way back, it blew us away. The vines have taken over! Wonder about the snakes...
Little Nerang Dam

And this is the beach that wasn't. Surfer's Paradise, Gold Coast, midsummer - closed! There is usually a huuuuuge strip, maybe 20 metres or more, of sandy beach between the grassy knoll (!) and the water's edge.

Fabulous pictures - I've saved them. They have a magical quality. I think they might inspire fic!

Hee, your fic? That'd be cool! I know you could work wonders with a house like that! Christy took about five pics of it, and as we scroll through, we almost feel we could see faces at the windows!

It looks like a lovely house behind the greenery.
More likely that gnomes live there than snakes LOL

Gnomes! Maybe that is where ours went. We lost two from our front gate one night.
I am sure it was a lovely country house once upon a time not so long ago. It looks like it was made of nice materials, two storeys, a garage underneath... I wonder what the history is.

Moth said there could be fic revolving around it. I'm just amazed at such a takeover. Apparently just three to six months to lose a house to nature over there!

Wow,the beach is devastated!!! At this time of year you are usually hard put to find a space to sit!!!

The house is something else! It doesn't take long at all for the rainforest to grow back and cover everything up. It's a shame they have let it go like that - but there again, it does make a wonderful inspirational pic.

Yes, the beach was like a scene from On The Beach or something!

It's in a pretty isolated area. Maybe the people just got lonely. Or sick of the creek flooding LOL!
