Happy New Year

It's nearly 2 am here and we just walked home from our friends' place where we saw in the New Year, and yes, that means 2009 is here in NZ!!!

I know some of you hate New Year Resolutions, and I know I never even posted my bucket list yet... maybe later today will be a time for some serious contemplation! I do wish you all the best, and thanks for being my friend on LJ this year.

Ooh, cool icon!! So far the New Year is looking warm and windy here. But then, it's mid summer!
I hope Israel and Palestine don't bomb the crap out of each other this year. I'm praying for a ceasefire.

I really hope you have a brilliant year. I think you will. You know, after your rec post, I went back over some of my Sam stories on your site, and I felt quite odd, like, 'did I really write that' and 'how did I know all that' and 'ooh, I'd like to edit that'!! I guess it was a time and place...

And my favourite author seems to have made his way to my LJ. So really, how could the new year have begun any better!

Thank you! I like taking pictures of fireworks, but they're so rarely well done... (at least when I'm the one taking them, heee)

And yes, let's hope that 2009 will see a little more peace, and a lot less war...

Oh, and if you knew how many times I've wanted to edit old stuff of mine... (I try not to, because if I start, I'll never stop, lol). Your stories were great!
I miss the good old TWW days... I might actually give my DVDs another look soon.

A brilliant year to you as well!

It was a vibrant time! Great fans! I miss it sometimes too.
I found it incredibly hard to look at TWW after Sam left. I just couldn't bear it. I guess it'd be okay now to look back at the first few seasons...

Hee, thanks. Yeah, I guess the trick is to learn to just keep moving ahead, and to say, 'what's done is done.' and then 'What's next?'!!

The truth is, I never watched one WW episode Sam wasn't in (though I did watch the end, or rather, the two episodes he was in at the end. And I still haven't watched the last scene of Red Sky, either...) But the first two seasons remain one of the best thing I ever saw on TV, no matter what happened later. :)

Nice Sam icon

We watched a few more episodes but I was always just waiting for Sam to come in the door. It felt awful. Then we missed a few eps and watched another one and it was terrible, CJ taking the President aside and giving him a pep talk, telling him how he needed to come through for the country... OMG!
