Problem solving... embracing the cheerful...

So. Those three hours on Saturday and another hour on Sunday were worth it. My problem solving seems to be on the right track. By taking my desk out of the back of my classroom, I have seating for four to six more students, which means more room all round. The class is happier, I can reach the girls who really aren't getting any work done and now I have greater hope for good time in class!! It is a huge relief. I still have a few things to do but I seem better able to cope this week. It's an easier week too, Week B. We alternate weeks and B is better than A for me by quite a long shot!

It's my brother in law's birthday today. He came over for dinner and we're watching a 3-part movie about Stalin's son, with James Bond, well, Daniel Craig, in it. It's not that great but I get to watch Craig for a while! I rather like him as an historian...

I'm waiting to see if I passed my first Theology essay. It wasn't a very long one, but I haven't had to submit an essay of my own for marking for quite some time. I feel a bit worried about it. I'm not fond of the others in my group, they all seem to be rather intense religious fundamentalists. I'm keeping my distance! Lucky it's a distance learning course and they all live way up north! Speaking of religion, Mass was awful yesterday. I really can't BEAR our priest. I may have to just get the hell out of there soon, but my friends want me to stay. I'm really torn...

Writing? Don't ask. Safe I might publish online on some site for fun one day and Breathing Space is going to stay in my head until July holidays. Then, then, if I feel like coming back to writing, I might let it out for a run.
