Dear Friends sorry to have been remiss in my posting. The end of the school term was chaotic to say the least. A nightmare but at least it ended pretty well.
My husband's fractured heel became more serious when he developed blood clots in his lung... long story, all that hospital crap and so on... but now I am in Brisbane with my family (children, brothers, neice and nephew and mother) having an 80th birthday family thing for my mother(as my brother lives here and won't return to NZ). It's okay but she isn't that well. Shrug. We're getting on with things. The cousins are having fun together. It's great to be in OZ twice in about one month so I am very lucky but not used to the cockcroaches! OMG they are enormous up here in North Brisbane!!! Aaaaaaaaagh!

So I'll catch up with you when I get back at the weekend. I was just passing an internet stand and thought, ooh, I'll sit for a second! I have escaped the family to purchase medication for my mother! Now I shall have to return. At least we have a pool and a GREAT rental car, a racy red ford falcon that has grunt! I love it.

So have a good week. I've put off Christmas for now so I'll be sending cards when we're... ready for Christmas. Probably in February *snort*

Take care.

Glad you're enjoying Brisbane but sorry to hear both your husband and mother haven't been well:(

Take care of yourself and have a lovely holiday.

And I am home already. So short a time. But we loved north Brisbane. We were in Scarborough, in Redcliffe. Nice place for a break. I loved the shells on the beaches but I wasn't sure if I could bring them home.

There were some amazing electrical storms though, for hours on end.
