Poor wee Finn broke his arm again today. Last time he broke his arm was the day my father died. It was the left one this time. And not so much of a break, more of a squashed end of bone at his wrist. He has a big, white plaster cast to last until Monday, when we have to go to Fracture Clinic. I had to collect him from school soon after the day began (I left my Year 13s in the library), I kept him with me for a while, then Admin found me a reliever from the staff and I whipped him off to the After Hours (because it has an x-ray there). We made it back to school for afternoon classes!

And more about the WYD... later this evening, I hope. Lost is on right now, and I have work to plan for tomorrow!

And right now, NOW, they are interviewing for the permanent boss' job at my old school... I am praying they make a wise decision *prays fervently*

Oh yeah!! I feel so nervous about the decision, even though I have kind of severed ties with the place. I know the people on the Board, and I know what they need to do... I know someone who is applying and of course I know the incumbent acting in the role for now. And my friend who works there phoned tonight, and reinforced all the things I know. We just have to hope for the best, for the school. The last two principals ultimately failed despite some successes within the job. What on earth will the next one do?

Thanks. Finn is doing okay, but gutted that he has to miss soccer this week. Me, I'm just rushing around meeting everyone's timetables at doctors, physio, all that stuff, and when Christy said in irritation, 'are you going to say you're tired every weekend now' I blew my top! We're over it now *g*

I remember having a similar 'yelling' session when I wanted to do yet another course in my own time and Gail wanted me to be available! I sometimes think teenagers need you more than little ones - all the discussions and so on can't be delegated to baby sitters!

Poor Finn! I hope he is not in too much pain. At least he has a plaster cast to show off to all his friends!

Too bad about Finn's arm. How did it happen? And how's he doing now?

Yeah, Finn is irritated that he can't play soccer this weekend, and he did the injury playing soccer! But at school, on the concrete! He's okay. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about Finn, what happened? Hope he's not in too much pain and that everything heals quickly.

I will join your prayers for the interviews for that position, those children and their community really deserve a principal who understands and cares for them and who can lead them forward.

I think Finn's arm feels better today. Just itchy already!

Thanks for the prayers. They DIDN'T appoint the teacher incumbent, thank God. A new DP from St Anne's apparently. A woman. Samoan. So that might be good. I hope she's super strong!
