Another busy week starts in the morning, with a school dance and a technology evening for Christy, Finn getting a new cast, Asher getting back into soccer after a week off, confirmation preparation, all that, but it's the last week of term, so I shouldn't complain. Mind you, I do have two whole evenings of Parents' Nights, from 4-8 pm each night, on Wednesday and Thursday. I teach over 130 girls, so I might be busy, then again I teach the dorky subject and probably many parents will want to give me a miss *g* - I don't mind at all, I can write while there are gaps. I can't believe I made it through to the end of the term. Full time. And we're reasonably intact at home. It was a strange gift, this job, but I have fallen right into it. Interesting, huh. But then again, maybe I'd be like that with any job. With any thing. I get involved. I care. It's how I do things.
And now, it's time to run away from the huge pile of paperwork on the living room floor, and go to bed! Have a great Sunday, other world people...

You really deserve the holidays - I hope you don't have to do too much school prep work, and running around with the kids in your time off. Fingers crossed you can find plenty of time to relax on the mountain :-)
Yeah, we only have ten week terms nowadays, so the breaks come thick and fast. I prefer the old system really, for planning lessons, but this is nice *g*

And to the mountain I shall run the minute school ends *g*
I think you did quite well! Now does the end of the term mean you get a little break?

Yeah, two weeks! Me and the children, of course... so not so much of a break, but at least not so much schoolwork!
That's great, two weeks off will be wonderful! Even with the kids around, I bet you'll still have a lot more free time.
Well, I'm going to just MAKE time! Somehow!
I think this job really uses your talents and gives you lots of fulfilment - a strange gift, but a good one. Hopefully there will be times for writing too...
Yeah, I don't like it much, I'd rather keep teaching at this time of the year. We used to just have a mid-term break in the old three term days.

Thanks *g* People who hear I have the job seem to just say, 'hey, great, you'd be good at that'!! I do hope for time to write, but it's getting harder and harder to keep it up. Still, there are holidays in five days - whee!
I never liked the four term year either..
Enjoy your break.
-But I really hope you find time to write as well.
I do, too. After a break, I feel like maybe I don't really know how to write at all! But I know it's still in me, if only I had some contemplative time.
