Nov. 14th, 2007

There will always be awful days, I am mature enough to know that, and today was one of them. Today I almost regretted signing that contract. I left early, came home, buried myself in home life, made Asher a top hat to dress up as Thief Lord, found Finn a costume, did some cooking, stared at Safe for a while. After dinner I had a liturgy committee meeting at the church. Missed Top Gear. Now I've composed a liturgy for our Year Thirteens for tomorrow. And I'm going to bed. I hope your day is better. And hopefully mine will be better tomorrow.
I think the teachers wanted more show and fluff and neat lining up at Mass today. Bugger that. Pomp and circumstance? I hate it. It sucks. God is not pomp and circumstance. That wasn't how Jesus did things. And it's not how I'll be running things at my work, either, except on very formal occasions. I'm still pretty sad and grumpy though. I think next week will be better than this one. My colleagues might relax a bit with the seniors out of their hair. Anal retentive. That's how they presented today. Heh. Now that makes me smile.

I'm sorry you had a bad day. I kinda did too. I bet we both have better ones tomorrow though!

I have been keeping up with you, I'm just always too tired to form complete sentences by the end of the day.

Feel better Jenny!

Hey, I understand. I know how busy you are, Cari.

I did have a better day. We had a great Year 13 leavers' liturgy and they all cried and sniffled! And now I have finished all but one of my senior classes for the year. Yay! Only juniors (that's not your kind of junior, it's more like 113-14 year olds) to teach now.
